Liam Kennedy is Professor of American Studies and Director of the Clinton Institute for American Studies at University College Dublin. He is the author/editor of eleven books on American culture, politics and foreign policy. Recent book publications include Trump’s America Political Culture and National Identity (2020) and the Routledge Handbook of Diaspora Diplomacy (2021).

Dolores Resano is Assistant Professor of Literature at Universidad Complutense de Madrid and a former postdoctoral fellow at the Clinton Institute for American Studies, University College Dublin. Her main area of research is 21st-century US literature, with a special interest in the intersections between “negative” affect, precarity studies, and the rise of right-wing populisms in recent years. Among her latest work, she edited the volume American Literature in the Era of Trumpism (Palgrave, 2022) and authored a number of journal articles and book chapters on contemporary US literature, the housing crisis, and Trumpism (Open Research Europe, 2024; Textual Practice, 2025; Brill, 2022).

Isabel Maria Fernandes Alves is Professor of Anglo-American Studies at the University of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro (Portugal). She holds a PhD in North American Literature. Her research interests include ecocriticism, nature writing, and the environmental humanities. She is a research fellow at the Centre for Anglo-American Studies (CEAUL), University of Lisbon, and an affiliated member of both the Association for the Study of Literature and the Environment (ASLE) and the European Association for the Study of Literature, Culture and the Environment (EASLCE), where she served on the Advisory Board from 2012 to 2016. She served as Pro-Rector for Quality from 2017 to 2021. She is currently President of the Portuguese Association of Anglo-American Studies.
